Century Peak Energy Corp., a subsidiary of listed Century Peak Metals Holdings Corp., will build 18 mini-hydro projects costing $150 million and with a total capacity of 75.4 megawatts.

Alice Cheng, Century Peak vice president, told reporters the company was diversifying into the power industry after the passage of the Renewable Energy Law. We are basically into mining nickel business in Surigao and Dinagat. We see great potential in developing RE sources, Cheng said.
