Lind Town Council members were informed Tuesday night that the town s request for funding from the Adams County Economic Development Capital Improvement fund was approved by the county commissioners.
The town had submitted an allocation request of $10,000 for its Wastewater System Improvement Project.
The town is in the process of applying for additional funds from USDA Rural Development. If approved, the $18,750 from RD with $10,000 from Adams County and $250 from the town will fund the completion of the fifth addendum and the environmental report for the wastewater project.
