German stocks advanced, with the benchmark DAX Index rebounding from the steepest weekly drop since February, as a report showed U.S. manufacturing expanded in October at the fastest pace in more than three years.

Infineon Technologies AG jumped 4.1 percent after Bank of America Corp. recommended shares of Europe s second-largest maker of semiconductors. Linde AG, the world s second-biggest maker of industrial gases, climbed 2.5 percent on better-than- estimated earnings. Adidas AG and SAP AG also increased.
