During a time when many businesses are struggling to stay afloat, Richmond Valley-based Celerant Technology Corp. is sailing along with support from a host of clients, including the U.S. Navy.

The company, founded a decade ago by two brothers who grew up in Great Kills, sells computer software used by retailers to manage their operations. It was recently chosen by the Navy to provide software for up to 150 or more shipboard stores.
