DHAKA, Nov 4 Asia Pulse - Communications Minister Syed Abul Hossain on Tuesday said the Bangladesh government would place the Dhaka Mass Transit Authority (DMTA) bill in the next session of parliament seeking to further strengthen the activities of Dhaka Transport Coordination Board (DTCB).

"The DTCB is being changed to DMTA. The cabinet has approved the change and we will place the relevant bill in the next session of parliament. If the bill is passed, the DMTA activities will be enhanced and strengthened," he said at a seminar, titled Urban and Transport Development in Dhaka.
