WORCESTER - Faculty members at Worcester State College today are set to take a no-confidence vote on President Janelle C. Ashley.
The secret-ballot vote among approximately 300 unionized professors and librarians at the college, which will take place today and tomorrow, comes after Ms. Ashley handed out raises in April to several dozen top administrators."This is about lack of leadership, about there being no leadership, about having a president of a college who has not articulated a vision for the college," said Anne Falke, a chemistry professor and president of the faculty union.
