Everybody needs love. And unfortunately, many men and women will go to any lengths to get it--even if it means remaining in a bad relationship.

Many times people stay in a bad or unhealthy relationship because they don't know what a healthy one is.

Dr. Marcia Clinkscales, an ordained elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church and a Howard University professor in the Department of Human Communication Studies, says a healthy relationship consists of "two people who are whole themselves. People who have a good sense of self, understand who they are, and are not looking to be defined through the lens of someone else...."
