First Data Corp. has hired Kevin J. Schultz as president of its financial services business segment. Schultz previously was global head of Visa processing services at Visa Inc. The company also named John Elkins executive vice president and chief marketing officer. Elkins previously was a senior adviser at McKinsey & Co.
American Express Co. has consolidated its global card operations under Edward P. Gilligan, vice chairman, who assumes control of the company's global consumer, small business and network businesses.
