KNOWLE angler Harold Lewis took the best rainbow trout of the week at Packington Somers in the shape of a 13lb 12oz beauty. Harold was boat fishing a bloodwormpattern at Cocks Close and he caught and released another six fish to 4lb on the same method.
The water has been fishing well with a rod average of three and another 13lb fish was caught from the bank at Cocks Close by Maxstoke's Adrian Cooper, with Hare's Ears and Daddy Longlegs also working well.
