Nov 04, 2009 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The US Chamber of Commerce disagrees with the US Government on a number of policy issues, including regulation of the financial sector and the proposed emissions trading scheme. Its stance on the latter in particular is causing tensions within the business organisation. Several major companies have abandoned their membership of the Chamber, including Pacific Gas & Electric and Nike, while customers of other companies are pressuring them to do so as well.
