Adeline Ann Meekins of Inverness Prayers for Adeline Ann Meekins, known to all as Adie, will be said at 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 6, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights. A Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2515 W. Palatine Road, Inverness. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. Visitation is from 3 until 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, at the funeral home. Born April 28, 1933, in Winona, Minn., to Gerhardt and Genevieve (nee Bambenek) Wendt, she died Nov. 2, 2009, at her home in Inverness. Adie worked for the U.S. Naval Department in Washington D.C.
