Kate Winslet wins USD 40,000 in libel suit

Los Angeles, November 04, 2009 (PTI) - Academy-Award winning actress Kate Winslet was "delighted" to win a payout of about USD 40,000 from a British newspaper that said she lied about her exercise regime.

The 'Titanic' star sued the Daily Mail following the publication of a report in January which branded her vain and accused her of lying about her fitness regime, People magazine online reported.
