FIVE British soldiers murdered by a rogue policeman inAfghanistan were gunned down as they drank tea after a patrol.
The gunman climbed on to the roof of a police checkpoint with a machine gun and sprayed bullets into the soldiers and local police below.
The troops, three Grenadier Guards and two military policemen, had taken off their body armour and were cut down before theycouldgrabtheirweapons.
