SAIC has completed its new-energy industrial chain and expects to start production of its new-energy vehicles in 2010, Xinhua News reported today.

Our related core technologies of auto parts have successfully broken the international hybrid vehicle barriers, a spokesman of SAIC said.

Reportedly, SAIC will provide over 1,000 new-energy vehicles to World Expo 2010 in Shanghai, including pure electric cars, fuel battery cars, super-capacitor and hybrid vehicles.
