ONE OF Britain's best displays of commercial show cattle this year was dominated by a family from North Wales.
After nine hours of deliberations at Borderway Agri-Expo, Carlisle, cattle judge Donald MacPherson found his overall champion in Black Beauty, a June 2008-born British Blue x Limousin heifer owned by Tecwyn Jones, Ty Newydd, Nebo, Llanrwst.
The Jones' family success continued when Tecwyn's nephew, Gerwyn Jones, took the reserve heifer and reserve overall championship with his Limousin cross heifer Miss Unique.
And to complete a good day's work, Tecwyn's son Llion was crowned champion young handler, ...
