BEIJING, Nov 5 Asia Pulse - Chinese authorities have issued a stimulus plan for forestry industry during 2010-2012 in a bid to cushion the blow from international financial crisis.
The plan points out that China will support 100 national backbone enterprises in the forestry sector and keep the growth rate of forestry's output value at about 12 percent annually.
The plan focuses on artificial board industry and the related sectors as they were severely hit during the financial crisis.
According to the plan, China will raise the output value of forestry industry from 1.44 trillion yuan (US$210.9 billion) in 2008 to 2.26 trillion yuan by 2012 and ...
