TOKYO, Nov 5 Asia Pulse - Japan's Seven & i Holdings Co. (TSE:3382) on Wednesday rolled out a California wine as its first private-label product to be sold worldwide.
The wine from California's Central Valley region is now available at 15, 000 stores operated by Seven & i's group stores in the U.S. and Japan.
The wine -- which comes in both red and white -- will be sold under the Seven Premium store brand for 598 yen (US$6.58) in Japan. U.S.-based 7-Eleven Inc. convenience stores will price the wine at around US$4. Seven & i expects Japanese and U.S. sales to reach ...
