CALGARY, ALBERTA, Nov 5, 2009 (Marketwire via COMTEX) -- AltaGas Income Trust (AltaGas or the Trust) (TSX:ALA.UN) today announced net income of $34.7 million ($0.44 per unit - basic) for the three months ended September 30, 2009, compared to $53.5 million ($0.75 per unit - basic) for the same period of 2008, which included a one-time tax recovery of $13.8 million as a result of legal entity ownership changes within the trust structure. Excluding the one-time tax recovery, net income was $39.7 million in third quarter 2008 ($0.56 per unit - basic).
