DURHAM, Ontario -- Veteran manager Dave Geikie has joined solid- wood bedroom specialist Durham Furniture as chief operating officer. He succeeds Wayne Brohman.

Geikie had worked for RLG International, a Vancouver, British Columbia-based consulting firm, as a turnaround manager for eight years for a number of clients. Earlier, he with the Bank of Nova Scotia and was a board member at Performance Polymers Inc. and EPI Consulting.

At Durham, he reports to president and CEO Gord Dilworth.
