EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
INFORMATION on the Public Company Profitability Index is received from FocalPoint Partners, LLC, which researches and compiles information from all the public companies in the San Fernando Valley area. As far as the rankings go, nine out of last year's Top l0 ranked companies are again in the top 10, with nineteen of last year's Top 25 again reappearing on this year's top 25.
There are a few big changes, however. United Online, Inc. (27), ranked 7th last year with an ROE of 18.75%, fell to 5.25% this year. Additionally, The Ryland Group (38), DineEquity, Inc. (35), Thomson S.A. (46) and Valueclick, Inc. (33) were ranked 14th through ...
