JOBLESS people in Birmingham and Solihull are being offered the chance to train for the 2012 Olympics - as a volunteer guide.
A sports management consultancy is inviting local unemployed people over the age of 19, who are not currently involved in a training scheme, to enrol in its Personal Best programme.
Participants can undertake a Level 1 qualification in event volunteering and, following a successful application, will be guaranteed an interview with the London Organising Committee to become a volunteer at the Games.
