Experian's AutoCheck now indicates if the vehicle you intend to buy was traded in under the Cash for Clunkers program
SCHAUMBURG, Ill., Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- While those gas-guzzling vehicles traded in as part of the Consumer Assistance Recycle and Save (CARS) Act -- or "Cash for Clunkers" -- are set to be scrapped, the possibility exists that some of those vehicles could find their way back onto the market. To protect used-car buyers, Experian's AutoCheckA' vehicle history reports now feature a specific designation to warn used-car buyers against buying a Cash for Clunkers scrap vehicle.
