Dow, Shenhua chemical project begins construction in Yulin
Tianjin. November 4. INTERFAX-CHINA - Construction has begun on the integrated chemical project of Shenhua Group Corp. Ltd. and The Dow Chemical Company in Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, a Shenhua employee said on Nov. 4 at an industry event.
Shenhua and Dow Chemical have jointly invested $10 billion in the project, which will be one of the largest integrated chemical projects in the world, Gu Dazhao, Shenhua's general manager of science and technology development, said at the 2009 China Power Summit in Tianjin.
