TAINAN, Taiwan -- Prof. Jiun-Jih Miau from Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan, as well as the Director General of National Space Organization (NSPO) and the President of Chinese Industrial Cooperation Association (CICA) in Taipei, has been elected as a Corresponding Member of the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) in 2009 to recognize his outstanding contributions to aeronautics and the exploration of space.
