Gas prices continued to rise this week and are now significantly above last year's prices, according to AAA.

"The national average is up a penny this week to $2.69 and Oregon's statewide average gains two cents to $2.75," Oregon AAA spokeswoman Marie Dodds said Tuesday, A year ago, the statewide average was $2.60.
