Castor & Pollux Pet Works[R] has been recognized for introducing one of the top new products for dogs in DOG FANCY magazine's 2009 Editors' Choice awards. DOG FANCY is the world's most widely-read dog magazine.

Castor & Pollux was recognized for innovation, creativity and originality in introducing GOOD BUDDY "Mimi's Favorite" Mac & Cheese cookies, a lighthearted homage to 13-year-old Freekibble founder Mimi Ausland and one of her favorite meals. With the sale of each box of the dog cookies, Castor & Pollux donates a meal to Freekibble, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising meal donations for hungry shelter pets.
