A renewable diesel product and an education program that brings underserved youth into science classrooms will be among the nine recipients of DiNA Awards at the 2009 Pantheon Ceremony on December 17 (see also BayBio).
Emeryville's Amyris Biotechnologies will receive the "Outstanding Product" DiNA Award for the development, production and approval of its No Compromise[R] Diesel, the first hydrocarbon-based fuel made from plant-derived resources that has been registered for commercial sale.
