Neurocrine Biosciences, Inc. (NASDAQ:NBIX) announced its financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2009. For the third quarter of 2009, the Company reported a net loss of $8.2 million, or $0.21 per share, compared with a net loss of $17.7 million, or $0.46 per share, for the same period in 2008. For the nine months ended September 30, 2009, the Company reported a net loss of $43.1 million, or $1.11 per share, as compared to $59.8 million, or $1.56 per share, for the same period last year (see also Biotechnology Business).
