Organovo, Inc., a regenerative medicine company focused on bioprinting technology, announced the appointment of Robert Baltera, M.S., M.B.A, to its board of directors. Baltera is the Chief Executive Officer of Amira Pharmaceuticals in San Diego and has over 19 years of pharmaceutical and biotechnology experience (see also Pharmaceuticals).
