According to recent research published in the journal Clinical Cardiology, "Acute treatment is associated with improved in-hospital outcomes for patients with non-ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndrome (NSTE ACS). Patients who receive appropriate acute treatment are more likely to receive guideline-recommended therapy at hospital discharge."
