Investorfest Media announced that Telcare was the "best in show" winner of the MobiTechFest Americas conference held yesterday in Santa Clara, CA. Telcare offers the first wireless-enabled glucose meter for diabetic patients that transmits results to a medical management server and returns immediate feedback to the patient. The unique solution works like a standard glucose meter and the patient does not have to learn any new behaviors. Preliminary results show potential to reduce complications and costs of diabetes by more than 37% (see also Investorfest Media).
