According to recent research from Sendai, Japan, "The complete nucleotide sequence was determined for a begomovirus isolated from tomato exhibiting leaf curling and yellowing symptoms in Tochigi Prefecture in Japan. The genome organization of this virus was similar to those of other Old World monopartite begomoviruses."
