Triumph Group, Inc. (NYSE: TGI) announced that its Seattle-based engineering group has been awarded a series of contracts by Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. to develop systems and critical components for the CH-53K helicopter that Sikorsky is developing for the U.S. Marine Corps. The CH-53K is being designed to provide the U.S. Marines with enhanced heavy-lift capability. The scope of the agreements includes the development of the Blade Fold System, the Blade Damper and the Rotor Brake Module.
