Kaydon Corporation (NYSE: KDN) announced its results for the third fiscal quarter ended October 3, 2009. Third Quarter Results Sales in the third fiscal quarter of 2009 were $123.6 million, compared to $126.8 million in the third quarter of 2008. Wind energy sales in the third quarter of 2009 were $41.0 million, an increase of $19.4 million compared to the third quarter of 2008. The 90 percent increase in wind energy sales offset much of the sales declines in our other end markets in the third quarter of 2009 as compared to the prior third quarter.
