Seattle-based Nordstrom, Inc. (NYSE:JWN) has announced plans to open a Nordstrom Rack store at University Commons shopping center in Boca Raton, Fl. The 36,000-square-foot store is projected to open in fall 2010.
The new Nordstrom Rack will join a strong mix of retailers at the center that includes Whole Foods, Bed Bath & Beyond and Barnes & Noble. University Commons also features several dining destinations, such as PF Changs, McCormick & Schmicks and J Alexanders. Boca Raton-based Schmier & Feurring Properties developed the property and leases and manages the shopping center.
