FPL Group, Inc. (NYSE:FPL) reported 2009 third quarter net income on a GAAP basis of $533 million, or $1.31 per share, compared with $774 million, or $1.92 per share, in the third quarter of 2008. On an adjusted basis, FPL Group's earnings per share were $562 million, or $1.38 per share, compared with $506 million, or $1.25 per share, in the third quarter of 2008. ...
