In a new video highlighting Vitol's facilities, president and chief executive officer Mike Loya discusses Vitol's capabilities and position as one of the world's largest oil traders.
Mr. Loya says Vitol plays a large role in importing the 42 million gallons of gasoline that the U.S. requires a day. "We also import all the other products: diesel for transportation, fuel-oil for running power plants, even petrochemicals, and now we're getting more involved in coal as well," Mr. Loya says. "We are a significant part of the energy market in the U.S."
