Rooster Petroleum, LLC, is pleased to announce the commencement of drilling of the Rooster #A-3 Well. It is the first well to be drilled by the Company on Eugene Island Block 28. The planned total vertical depth of the well is 12,500 ft and is expected to take 30-40 days to drill and complete. The current infrastructure currently located on Block 28 should allow for all production to be available for market immediately after hook up of the well.
The well is being drilled using the Atwood Richmond semi-submersible rig which is owned by Atwood Oceanics, Inc. Rooster Petroleum awarded a contract to Applied Drilling Technology, Inc. to drill the well on a turnkey ...
