APS Chief Executive Officer Don Brandt today was named the Solar Electric Power Association's "Utility CEO of the Year" at the Solar Power International 2009 conference in Anaheim, Calif.

Brandt was recognized for his efforts in helping Arizona become the "solar capital of the world."
