Fitch Ratings assigns an 'A+' rating to Duval County School Board, Florida's (the district) approximately $47 million in certificates of participation (COPs), series 2009A and $27.2 million series 2009B. Proceeds from the issuances will be used for general district capital needs, including additions to schools. The COPS are expected to sell the week of Nov. 3, 2009. Concurrently, Fitch affirms the 'A+' rating on the district's $222.9 million in outstanding COPs. The Rating Outlook is Stable.
