Owens & Minor (NYSE:OMI) reported financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2009, including record quarterly revenue of $2.03 billion, increased 13.9% when compared to revenue of $1.79 billion in the third quarter of 2008. Income from continuing operations for the quarter was $34.7 million, or $0.83 per diluted share, increased 36.8% when compared to $25.3 million, or $0.61 per diluted share, in the same period last year. Net income for the third quarter was $34.7 million, or $0.83 per diluted share, increased 37.2% when compared to net income in the same quarter of 2008.
