According to recent research from Chengdu, People's Republic of China, "There are two unique molecules in the asymmetric unit of the title compound, C17H15NO4, which are linked into chains via intermolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot O and C-H center dot center dot center dot O interactions; the chains are linked via weak C-H center dot center dot center dot O interactions, forming a parallel sheet structure."
