The traditional Christmas dinner is a feast that fortunately follows a familiar pattern. It's not too difficult to come up with something suitable to drink and the ultimate selection shouldn't add any more to the stress. With this in mind, I recently attended a Tanners walk-round tasting to come up with some suitable choices.
The festive meal is more a marathon than a sprint, so pace yourself and go for quality rather than quantity. Four good wines are more than adequate to cover the event from start to finish.
