MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- A Minnesota man arrested after heading from a bank robbery to a golf course has pleaded guilty.

Frazier Eugene Turner, 50, of St. Paul pleaded guilty to bank robbery Monday in U.S. District Court in Minneapolis, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reported.

Turner admitted robbing a TCF Bank in a Cub Foods store July 27 near St. Paul's Lake Phalen.

He showed a bank teller a golf shoe cleat wrapped in a newspaper to resemble a gun and handed over a note demanding money. He left the bank with $600, spent $30 on gas for his car and was arrested in the Phalen Golf Course parking lot.
