Deccan 360--an express logistics company owned by G.R. Gopinath, the founder of India's first low-fare carrier--said Wednesday it will launch operations with eight freighter aircraft Monday. The company said its air-cargo operations will cover 15 airports in the country with a capacity to carry 300 tons of cargo per night.
The company said once the domestic services are established, it has plans to work with international freighter companies to offer them feeder services into Indian cities. It didn't elaborate.
