Article: Romania: MFP issues government securities worth more than RON 815 million.

The Ministry of Public Finance (MFP) on Monday, Nov 2, placed a 6-month discount government securities issue, raising RON 815.355 million, for an average yield of 10 pct per annum, announced the National Bank of Romania (BNR).

The issue was worth a total of RON 1.2 billion. The 13 banks' total bid was RON 2.045 billion, with the MFP rejecting the buy bids by commercial banks for the benchmark bonds with an ask yield higher than 10 percent.
