The Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and Microsoft signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) Wednesday, with both agreeing to set up a "Software and Services Excellence Center" in Taipei by the end of this year to enhance business opportunities arising from a "three screens and a cloud" strategy.
Cloud computing is a Web-enabled software solution based on the use of computer technology. It allows clients who have no knowledge of or expertise in the technology infrastructure to complete common business applications online that are accessed from a Web browser.
