Nearly $10 million in stimulus money is slated to help fund energy efficiency projects at two Maine paper mills.
Memphis, Tenn.-based Verso Paper has been awarded a $9,356,177 Recovery Act grant for waste energy recovery projects at its two mills in Jay and Bucksport, as well as a third mill in Sartell, Minn., according to a press release from Sens. Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins.
