During rush-hour traffic, Michelle Burcky says it can be difficult -- and sometimes dangerous -- to pull out into the intersection of U.S. 70 and Airline Road in Arlington.
On Monday, the Arlington Board of Mayor and Aldermen approved a road construction project that will help ease traffic congestion at the town's busiest intersection.
Town leaders accepted a $2.56 million construction bid with Ferrell Paving Inc. that will expand portions of U.S. 70 and Airline Road.
The project, which is scheduled to begin soon, will add a turning lane to both U.S. 70 and Airline Road and a four-way traffic light at the intersection. ...
