Star Alliance partners Asiana Airlines and Turkish Airlines have signed a code sharing agreement for the Seoul Incheon-Istanbul route. From 25 October Korea's Asiana will place its code on Turkish's four-times-weekly service on the route, says Asiana. From mid-1997 to mid-1998 Asiana operated direct service on the Seoul Gimpo-Istanbul route, but this was terminated.
